CPD Accredited Foundation Training in Dermal Fillers

Course Information

You will undertake prior online learning in the foundation theoritical elements of dermal fillers and facial anatomy.

On the practical day you will work on live models, injecting between 3 to 5 live model patients under the supervision of an aesthetic tutor. The small group sizes guarantee extensive, hands-on and focused injectable training.

This training will also teach you funadamental foundation knowledge of dermal filler injections to achieve beautiful results for your clients. This will ensure your commercial success for your new business. Following the Foundation you can then venture into  Advanced Botox® and Filler training.

What does this qualification cover?

The training covers the following modules:

1.   Theory:

• Skin anatomy & physiology
• Indications for use – including areas of treatments
• Client suitability
• Effectiveness of treatment – post treatment skincare
• Handling adverse reactions

2.   Carrying out a Consultation:

• Client selection – including client medical history, drugs, and supplements list
• Muscle analysis and pre-treatment considerations
• Contraindications and cautions to treatment
• Consenting clients

3.   Demonstration and practice session:

• Client preparation for treatment – including use of topical anaesthesia
• Importance of describing the sensation of treatment to clients
• Effective botox techniques and patterns
• Health and safety management: including choice of equipment, safe handling of equipment management
• Number and frequency of treatments
• Complications and dissolving

4.   Treatment records:

• Maintaining client records
• Post treatment advice
• Importance of treatment insurance

Entry Requirements

You must meet one of the below criteria to enrol on our courses

• Medical professional registered to a medical body (e.g NMC, GMC, GDC, GPhC etc.)
• Level 3 NVQ in Beauty Therapy
• 6 Months experience in advanced beauty treatment (e.g SPMU, Microblading, Microneedling) WITH 6 A&P Level 3
• 12 months experience in advanced beauty treatments (e.g SPMU, Microblading,Microneedling)
