Develop the knowledge and practical skills required to provide laser hair reduction and IPL skin rejuvenation treatments safely and confidently.
Learner kit: You will need to bring gloves, aprons, couch roll, tissues, laser gel, SPF 50, aloe vera gel and suitable protective goggles. A complete list will be provided before your course starts.
Protective eyewear: Goggles must be suitable for the wavelength and treatment being performed. Your tutor will explain the correct selection before practical training.
The VTCT Level 4 Certificate in Laser and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Treatments is an advanced qualification for qualified beauty therapists who want to provide laser hair reduction and IPL skin rejuvenation treatments.
The qualification is based on the beauty therapy National Occupational Standards and is supported by the Hairdressing and Beauty Industry Authority (HABIA).

This VTCT Level 4 Certificate develops the knowledge and practical competence required to provide laser hair reduction and IPL skin rejuvenation treatments. Evidence is gathered through theory and supervised practice in a realistic working environment.
The qualification includes the following mandatory units:
Applicants must normally hold a relevant Level 3 qualification before enrolling. We will check your previous qualifications, knowledge and practical experience to confirm that this is the correct course for you.
Attendance: One day per week for six weeks.
This is an intensive course and independent study is required between training days. International learner fees and delivery arrangements may differ; please contact us before enrolling.
