Assessment for this qualification is conducted through an externally set and marked multiple-choice theory examination by VTCT (ITEC). Learners must achieve a minimum pass mark of 70% to be awarded the qualification. The examination is designed to test comprehension of all areas of the Core of Knowledge syllabus.

centre to ensure that learners have the required knowledge and understanding to enrol and successfully achieve this
