Course Information
This qualification will prepare learners for employment and support a range of roles in the workplace. This qualification provides a specialist work-related programme of study that provides breadth and depth of knowledge and understanding, along with practical skills required in the aesthetics sector. This qualification will help to prepare professional staff and managers of the future in the aesthetics sector. This qualification provides a generic core of mandatory units that apply in all aesthetics contexts.
Practical Modules you will learn are –
- Botulinum Foundation 3 areas upper face
- Botulinum Advanced lower face
- Dermal Filler Foundation (nose to mouth smile lines and marionettes)
- Dermal Filler Lip Augmentation
- Dermal Filler Advanced Cheek Augmentation
The course is made up of 5 mandatory units assessed by assignments, Questions and practical assessments.

- Psychology of Facial Aesthetics
- Botulinum Toxin Injections to the Face and Neck
- Temporary and Reversible Dermal Fillers to the Face and Neck
- Management of Complications and Medical Emergencies
The awarding body is- Qualifi & Regulated with Ofqual- Qualification number (RQF) 603/5210/3 – Credits 30
Entry Requirements
- A Level 5 Certificate in Aesthetic Practice AND OR
- Degree or equivalent
- Current and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and anaphylaxis management training
Enrolment Process
Once full payment is made, you will be emailed documentation to read and sign. You will then given access to our learning platform
This theory work will consist of – (Theory work must be referenced) (A portfolio will be required of your work)
SAQ’s x 5 units (300-word answers are required for each question)
2x Assignments ( 3000 words are required for each assignment)
4 x Assessment Days (Minimum) split up throughout the year
Once theory work has begun, it is to be sent in via email and marked by the course tutor, your practical sessions will then be booked in.
There will be 4-8 practical days spread out throughout the year that you can attend for training and assessments. You will be required to attend here at the academy. Which will consist of demonstrations followed by your Practical sessions to practice and sit assessments in aesthetic treatments. Models will be provided by the academy.
- 10 supervised botox and 10 summative assessments botox
- 10 supervised dermal fillers and 10 summative assessments dermal fillers
Depending on your prior knowledge, will depend on the number of days you are required to attend.
