QUALIFI LEVEL 5 CERTIFICATE IN AESTHETIC PRACTICE
Course Information
The rationale of the programme is to provide a career path for learners who wish to develop their aesthetic practice capabilities within the health and aesthetic sector. The expected outcome of the Certificate, which is the achievement of a recognised UK qualification, is for learners to develop the skills required by organisations and the aesthetic industry globally.
This qualification will prepare learners for employment and support a range of roles in the workplace. This qualification provides a specialist work-related programme of study that provides breadth and depth of knowledge and understanding, along with practical skills required in the aesthetics sector. This qualification will help to prepare professional staff and managers of the future in the aesthetics sector. This qualification provides a generic core of mandatory units that apply in all aesthetics contexts.
This qualification will be the foundation route to progress onto level 7 Certificate in Aesthetic practice.

- Professional Standards within Aesthetic Practice
- Working Collaboratively with Healthcare Professionals
- Anatomy, Physiology and Morphology of the Ageing Face
- Skin Micro-needling and Chemical Peels
The awarding body is- Qualifi & Regulated with Ofqual- Qualification number (RQF) 603/5209/7 – Credits 17
Entry Requirements
- An applicant must be aged 18 or over
- A minimum of a Level 4 qualification in a related sector
e.g QUALIFI Level 4 Diploma in Aesthetic Procedures for Skin Rejuvenation
or QUALIFI Level 4 Certificate in Aesthetic Practice
or QUALIFI Level 4 Diploma/Certificate in Micropigmentation
or QUALFI Level 4 Certificate in Laser, Light and Energy-Based Procedures
or equivalent Level 4 Regulated Qualification in the relevant sector (e.g: Focus Awards Level 4 available here):
Plus Current and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and anaphylaxis management training.
Once full payment is made, you will be invited to an Induction day
You will also be given access to our learning platform
This theory work will consist of – (Theory work must be harvard referenced)
SAQ’s x 5 units (200-300 word answers are required for each question)
2 x Assignments ( 2500 words are required for each assignment)
10 x assessments using-
- 4 handheld micro-needling, 4 power assisted and 4 medium grade peels
- Same amount of case studies.
Once theory work has been sent in via email and marked by the course tutor, your practical assessments will be booked in.
There will be a minimum 7 practical days that you will be required to attend here at the academy.
Which will consist of a demonstration followed by your Practical assessments in chemical peel and micro-needling treatments.
Models will be provided by the academy.
