Statement from Beautiful World Training Academy
Update- 24th October 2020
We wanted to let you know about the social distancing measures that have been put in place. It is our goal that every single one of you can feel comfortable in our academy.
As such, we are kindly asking that you:
- Arrive alone for your appointment
- Wait outside in fresh air if you are early for your appointment. We appreciate your prompt arrival, a student will collect you from the front entrance a few minutes prior to your treatment. If you are more than 10 minutes late, we may have to reschedule.
- Wash/sanitise your hands when you arrive at the academy, we have a sanitisation station!
- Keep a space of 2 metres between you and anyone else in the salon wherever possible
- Do not touch or shake hands with anyone else in the salon
- Please bring cash in an envelope.
Upon arrival, you will be asked to sanitise your hands, As per the government guidelines, you must wear a face-covering throughout your visit, please only remove your mask when instructed to do so by your therapist. You must fill in a screening form and we kindly ask you to scan our track and trace QR code.
We are also asking customers to reschedule your appointment if:
- You have experienced any cold or flu symptoms in the last 14 days
- Have been in contact with anyone with cold or flu symptoms in the last 14 days
So that our academy is as safe as possible, you will have a slightly different experience than before:
- We now ask you to kindly bring your own water as we are no longer able to provide beverages.
- Please limit the amount of personal items you bring with you into the academy. Anything brought in will need to be kept with you at all times.
- Appointments are spaced out to reduce the number of people present and to allow extra time for cleaning/sanitization.
- Sanitizing of personal spaces and hand washing will take place in between clients. As well as more frequent cleaning of high touch common area surfaces.
-
Staff have been informed and trained on sanitization best practices
We look forward to welcoming you back soon.

Latest Update: 5th October 2020
Update: 19th August 2020
We hope that everyone is well and adjusting to our new ‘normal’.
The government has announced that from Friday 15th August 2020, close contact beauty services are now allowed to take place, with the provision that staff must wear a mask as well as a safety visor:
“Beauty salons, tattoo studios, spas and barbers across England will be able to offer all close contact services – including front of the face treatments such as eyebrow threading, eyelash treatments and facials from August 15 under new guidance… The Government has also confirmed today that all staff offering close contact services, including hairdressers, should now wear a face mask (type 2 surgical), in addition to a clear visor that covers the face. This will help protect the customer and staff from respiratory droplets caused by sneezing, coughing, or speaking.”
We are therefore enforcing this across Beautiful World Training Academy, ensuring that all students must bring their own mask and visor to wear during class, except in the case that they are exempt from doing so. This is in-line with new government guidance and must be adhered to, to ensure the safety of all students and staff.
If you have any questions regarding the above, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Thank you and stay safe,
The BWTA Team x
