1. Scope of the service

Blood testing services may include arranging an appointment, collecting a blood sample, sending the sample to a laboratory, laboratory analysis and communicating available results. The service purchased and its price will be shown before payment.

2. Appointments and next steps

After purchase, our team will contact you to discuss the next steps and arrange the service. Purchasing a test does not by itself confirm an appointment time.

3. Cancellations and refunds

Where the service is purchased through our website, by telephone, email, WhatsApp or another form of distance communication, a consumer will normally have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days, subject to the legal rules concerning services begun during that period.

If you expressly request that the service begins during the cancellation period, we may deduct a reasonable and proportionate amount for services already supplied and non-recoverable costs incurred.

Once the blood sample has been taken, sent to the laboratory, or laboratory testing has otherwise begun, no refund is available for a change of mind.

This does not affect statutory remedies where the service is faulty, misdescribed or not provided with reasonable care and skill.

4. Test results

Blood-test results must be interpreted in the context of the individual’s symptoms, medical history and other clinical information. A blood test is not a substitute for emergency medical care. Customers with urgent or severe symptoms should contact NHS 111, their GP or emergency services as appropriate.

5. Sample and laboratory limitations

Occasionally a sample may be unsuitable, insufficient, delayed or require recollection. Where appropriate, we will explain the available next steps. Laboratory turnaround times are estimates and may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

6. Customer responsibilities

You must provide accurate information relevant to the test, follow any preparation instructions and attend the agreed appointment. Failure to attend does not automatically entitle you to a refund.

7. Privacy

Personal and health information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law. Information may be shared with the laboratory and relevant healthcare professionals where necessary to provide the service.

8. Related policy

These terms should be read with our Refund and Cancellation Policy. Statutory consumer rights take priority if there is any conflict.
